Autodesk is rolling out the requirement for customers to verify eligibility to access Autodesk products with an Educational license, globally, over the coming months.
Autodesk recommends that you accept the default download location and make a note of it.Įffective March 25, 2020, the term length for multi-user and network Educational licenses available through the Autodesk Education Community is 1 year. Read and accept the license agreement and click Install. Then use the DLM to download the product. If you chose Download Now, download and install the Autodesk Download Manager (DLM) when prompted. Only the newest version of Revit is available for download. What is the price of Revit 2021, 2020, or 2019? The price of an annual Revit subscription is $2,545 and the price of a monthly Revit subscription is $320. If you are a student or educator, you can access free Revit software with an Autodesk Education plan (US site). Students and educators can get free one-year educational access to Autodesk products and services, renewable as long as you remain eligible. If the Autodesk desktop app was installed on your computer when you purchased a product, you can install directly from there. Usually you can download software, use it on a trial basis, and subscribe when the trial expires. You can find trial versions on the Autodesk Products page. If your product was delivered on media, find the EXE file and launch it from there. If you downloaded the installer, launch the EXE or EXE file associated with your product and version, for example, setup.exe. Click Install (from the Autodesk desktop app) or Install Now (from Autodesk Account). However, many people incur charges after the free trial since the service automatically renews into a paid subscription. Revit, as a top-leading software in architecture, engineering, and construction, offers free a 30-day free trial for all new users and existing users who have not enjoyed the free trial before. 
Those eligible can apply for AutoCAD’s educational license and get a free year of Autodesk software, including AutoCAD.
Educational Version The one and only way to access a full and unrestricted version of AutoCAD for free is to be a student, educator, or academic institution.
